LED Light Therapy
Treatment
Led Light Therapy is non-invasive and pain free. The treatment is deeply relaxing and many feel their mood is also boosted following the session. It does not use ultraviolet rays so is safe. It is recommended for anyone wishing to rejuvenate their skin and increase radiance and it is particularly effective when used to treat: signs of ageing; eczema; acne; rosacea; stressed and dull skin.
Over 40 years of independent worldwide research has shown LED phototherapy to have powerful rejuvenation benefits in the skin. The heat free light is clinically proven to be safe for all skin types and effective in the treatment of many skin conditions. The visible effects are immediate; after just one treatment skin is hydrated, plump, radiant and redness and irritation calmed. It can be performed as a stand alone treatment or as an add-on. For optimum results, a course of 8 is recommended.
What is light therapy?
LED light therapy works in different wavelengths to stimulate different layers of the skin. These wavelengths target the skins deepest layers using LED phototherapy, the skin cells are energised and function better, helping them to regenerate up to 200% faster. What’s more is research has shown that after 6-8 sessions, LED light therapy has improved the skins pro-collagen.
What to expect:
At Prism Beauty we use a high grade, professional machine with clinically proven results. Our therapist has undertaken advanced training in this therapy and following a skin consultation, a bespoke treatment will be devised. Your skin will be double cleansed and prepared, before you relax under our LED canopy. During this time you’ll receive an arm/hand or foot/leg exfoliation and massage.
Many clients find this so relaxing that they drift off to sleep.
What happens after the LED part of the facial?
Following the LED Treatment, we then apply a vitamin C, skin quenching, bio-cellulose sheet face mask that helps to firm, sculpt and define facial contours, while brightening up your skin, lifting and smoothing wrinkles. We then conclude the facial with skin specific serums, moisturiser and SPF.
You will then choose a drink to enjoy as you relax in the candlelit room.
